I'm involved in a casual "relationship" with this guy. Because of our conflicting work scheduals, we only talk or see each other once or twice a week, if that. The time we spend together is like if we are actually a couple, and when we are not, not. He constantly brings up the question of whether or not I could see him as a boyfriend, but at the same time he says he's not ready for a relationship. I'm not about to try to sell myself to him, so if he's not ready, than he's not ready. Should I just not take him seriously or is it his way of trying to make me make the first move. I wasn't thinking about a relationship until he brought it up, and now I can't stop thinking about it.

Tell him there's not point in discussing it if he's not ready for a relationship. If he becomes ready, then let you know and you can talk about it then. Until then, don't get used to using him as a bf when he's not actually one...

Sounds like maybe in the near future he will be ready. Maybe its his sign of telling you to be ready for one, because he is almost ready. Good Luck, because it sounds like in the near future you will have a boyfriend.

Sounds like you should find someone on a schedule similar to yours. He is sending you mixed messages....you want a real b/f not just a **** buddy.
