I have some background in Spanish, but have not been disciplined enough to stick with the audio-lessons. Can anyone suggest a San Diego-immersion class /group that does not cost loads of $$$?

I know you said you don't want audio but if you go to www.how-to-speak.com you will be amazed at what you will learn and how easy it is. It teaches conversational spanish not all of the bs with grammar,etc...It is really amazing. It's also cheap!! They have a free lesson or two when you visit the site.

You're just a couple of minutes north of Tijuana.
I'm sure someone down there will teach you very reasonably.
