I am a very spiritual person, but I am weary about the so called "good Christians". They are usually the most closed minded people, and they are usually self serving. If it's in their best interest, they invoke that Jesus would want things to be done their way. And if they don't like something, they say it is against Jesus. Really, how do they know what Jesus would want. That is why he gives us the Holy Spirit, so that we can be connected with Him, and make our own decisions.

The gates are narrow. Not everyone that says they are a Christian is a Christian. People in general are mean and rotten. There are no good people in this world. We are all full of sin. That does not give people the right to act any old way. If we are supposed to be like Christ, we are doing a poor job. I'm very sorry that you had to meet people like that. Don't feel bad. I've been deceived as well. Just when I think I have a great Christian friend, something triggers and tells me that that person isn't Christian, be it their language, or decisions. I am not the judge, but I know the difference [at least I think I know.] Don't be let down by any Christian girl that says they are Christian and don't live like it.

Faith has to start somewhere. The girl(s) that you're talking about probably do not have a very mature faith. Perhaps they recently converted to Christianity, or perhaps they haven't learned to seriously apply their faith to thier lives. There are many Christians out there who believe and are going to heaven, but don't take God's advice in their everyday lives. And even mature Christians do and say nasty things because we're all sinful. If you keep looking, you'll find some out there who do take God seriously in their lives. I wish there were more, just like you do.
