Please, I need an acurate answer quickly!

She is a female Yellow Lab, about 60 lbs., 17 mo old. Running a 104.1 temp. I have an appt. with the vet at 7:00 AM tomorrow

Thank you very much for your quick responses. She is very sick. Possibly Lyme's Disease?

you didn't mention the breed.. so this will be a long answer...
depends on the breed.. some are lower or higher than others.. and amount or thickness of fur coat
small dogs.. 100 -102 .. under 20 lbs/9kg
medium dogs 98-101 .. 20-60lbs/9kg-27kg
large dogs.. 97-100 .. over 60/ 27kg
typically the thinner the coat.. the lower the temp.. this is why small dogs need sweaters in the winter.. they don't have enough blood to keep them warm..
chows can have a temp of 105 and be normal.. they were bred in china to keep high ranking royalty warm in bed..
so there is a big range.. sorry this can't help you much

A dog's body temperature is normally between 101°F and 102°F.

Their temp should be 101-102 but if is above 101 you should call avet

Normal range for a dog's temp
100.5 to 102.5, anything over 103 should be seen by your vet, anything lower- same thing.

my vet told us that a normal reading is around 101 - dogs have a higher metabolism than humans and therefore a higher core body temp.
