I had found the best love in all the world and managed to gum it all up and he did too.... I doesn't seem i will ever find another whos love was that magical... and this time i wont be able to handle it if it doesn't last. My heart hurts just to think about.... They say true love doesn't come along twice in a lifetime... if thats true than im doomed because i now know what i am missing.

I think the world would be a horrible place if there was never the possibility of a second chance. Who's to say that you've already found the love of your life? Besides if you think you have, and you're not with them, then they weren't it. It might seem like they will never come along, but believe me, he/she is out there somewhere thinking the same thing about you. Stop putting so much pressure on yourself. Take time to heal your broken heart. Once you do and learn to love yourself again, the right one is going to be there.

Who are "they" anyway? MANY loves can come along in a lifetime (if you love someone isn't it always true, or is there a true love and a faux love?). That doesn't mean you'll feel exactly the same about each person, or love them to an identical degree, but the idea there is only "one" in a lifetime is silly...it sounds cute in 'happily ever after' fairy tales but real life is rarely a fairy tale...
...and thank goodness for that...the real thing is so much more interesting, adventurous, and provides more opportunities...

True love is in your heart, not in your mind. you are over thinking the concept of love. Let your life take it's own course and you will find that true love when you least expect it. It is very possible that true love will find you. If you over think it, you may not give true love a chance to expose itself. Kick back and let life happen and enjoy life one day at a time. True love is out there and you will know it when it happens. Good luck and remember that there is true love within your own heart.
