HELP Dr. ordered an "antistrep test" what is this test for?

I only was able to speak to the nurse and she was as clueless as I am. She did however tell me that the high end of normal is 145 and mine is 206. If anyone would please give me any idea what this is a test for I would greatly appreciate the knowledge.

Antistreptolysin o test is for for 1)Rheumatic fever and 2)Glomerulonephritis.
These tests explain if you are previously infected by Streptococcal bacteria.High titre indicate you were.Not very useful in planning the treatment.It is of academic interest and may be a legal requirement for the doctor.More details needed.
