Is a baby a year old right on the 12 month mark or after the 12 month mark?

a baby is a month old at the month mark, 2 months at the 2 months mark..........12 months(which is exactly = to 1 yr) at the 12 months mark.....i don't c the confusion in here!!!

I would say on the 12 month mark, that is what is used to configure age. The exact time on the day they were born. If you want to get technical though you could and get totally confused about daylight savings time, different time zones and leap year and whether or not that should effect age.

If a child is born on July 4, 2006, the child will be a year old, July 4, 2007. Does that help?

its a year old when the baby was born say 27 june 2005 and its now 27 june 2006 it would be 12 months old or one years old

12 months to the same minute of their birth I'd say. So if the child was born on January 1st, at noon, then it'd be January 1st (following year), at noon.

wow I don't want to sound mean but I hope that you are not a mother yet. Each year we all celebrate a birthday. Our birthdays are the same date each year witch is the day that we were born.
