he's kinda shy so he probably wont make a first move. so yea. we both know the other likes the other, but we aren't officially going out...he might move to a different state, but most likey not. it doesn't sound that bad, but he's like at least 5 inches shorter than me and i have really overprotective parents. what should i do?

How old are you? That could be a major factor in your parents' opinion. Talk with them first. Explain how you feel and let them set some reasonable limits. If they still object, suggest double dating or group dating so they would know that you two wouldn't be entirely alone. If all goes well with your parents, then ask him out because height shouldn't matter. Good luck!

first of all its not the size that counts,its what you do with it.to answer your question,if you like him, you no that he likes you and your friends no then maybe you can ask your friends to hook you two up.when you get kind of into the relationship then tell your parents about him and how nice he is.you can maybe even invite him over for dinner and show your parents that you really like him.maybe your parents wont be so overprotective.
