I have called them and got the run around about $200.00 they took from my account claiming to send me an accual credit card. Never heard anymore from them. If you call they say they dont work in customer service. All I want is my money back!

It looks like they are truly the bottom of the barrel.

I would suggest contacting the BBB, the FTC, your attorney general and the attorney general in the state that is listed in the letter that you had received from them (or if you had received no letter, where you had sent your money to).

Check out the site I've listed. Enter Ameritrust in the search and you will see that many have been ripped off by them.

I really don't know much of what you can do besides filing those complaints. Unless you find a lawyer that will either take them on for you or in a class action.

edited to add: If you are wanting a secured credit card, stick with major companies. Bank of America, HSBC, Orchard etc.
