This guy has flirted with me before and then was mean to me a couple of times. Then apoligized for it. Sometimes would make eye contact and then sometimes wouldn't look my way. Saw me really fixed up one day and especially ignored me then. He's 24 and I'm 34. He's taken a turn lately and has just been really friendly but not in a flirty way. Also started asking me work related questions. The 3rd time I didn't know the answer I laughed because again I didn't know. I went over to a friend and laughed when I looked back he saw me laughing. He ignored me the next day. He was on vacation for a week. When He saw me he stared but when I got closer to who he was talking to him quickly walked off. He is always eyeing this girl at the other side of the room he doesn't even know her. Do you think he had any interest in me but because of my age, he's more interested in her? And why did he ignore me?

I've even felt like he's looked at my eyes to my mouth before. He's been really hot and cold. Why is he like this with me?

To be honest, I personally don't think he's interested in you as romantic interest. From all you have related, it sounds to me that he just is interested in being acquaintances with you, through work. Guys do flirt with women, no matter the age, but that's all it is at times...simple flirting. It doesn't mean they want to go out with them. As for ignoring you, he might have misread why you were laughing with your friend. And figuring into the equation, the possibility of awkwardness of age difference, he might have thought you were thinking him just a young kid compared to you and laughing at him and totally misread things.

If he's always eyeing the girl on the other side of the room, it stands to reason that SHE is the one he would like to get to know better. I doubt age really has much to do with that...it's just chemistry. He has it for her, and probably not for you is all. Move onward from it all, I would say.

24 and 34 that is a little bit of a stretch . It might be your age or he might just like the younger ones. I would find someone closer to your age personally.

it could be your age, but with the way he's acting i don't think he's interested in you. there are other guys who are cute and could be interested in u. stop trying to get his attention, because it's obvious he's not attracted to you.

he sounds young and immature... i am sure you can find someone better. he doesnt seem to know what he wants at all. and doesnt seem ready for you. just let him be.
