Guys always seem to say that they're most attracted to girls with confidence. I'm kind of shy and quiet, and I'm wondering - is it impossible for me to ever hope that any guy will actually like me for these qualities? Or do I have to start strutting around?

YES. im attracted to them seeing that i am also a little shy as well. but not all of them.

It would be easy like you, shyness is not a disqualifying attribute. In fact there's a mating advantage for shy people - your future partner will value your loyalty and will trust that you will not be keeping another man on the side.
The problem of being shy is the question of attraction. Don't linger the next decade in your apartment waiting for someone to be attracted to you - men can't find you there. You have to force yourself to go hang about places where your potential mate might be.
Think of it this way, you already know that you will form a couple with some man, someday. So you will be doing him and yourself a favor by making your self available for him to meet now rather than later.

Yea I like shy, cute girls. Guys don't really care whether ur shy or confident as long as THEY are confident that u like them. If u like a guy, show it a little more. You should talk to him, and you could even tell him u like him. But since ur shy, if you just look at him a lot (which I'm sure u do) and smile when he looks at you, I'm sure he'll get a little hint. You'll find somebody, don't worry about that. And you'll eventually gain confidence in yourself. Just be happy. :) Good Luck! :-)

I like girls that are shy cause I dont have to worry about them ever getting too wild and doing things they shouldnt do. I had a gf once that would say and do anything and get her a** is so much trouble and then I would be broke at the end of the week just from covering for her or getting her out of tight cercumstances. That is why we are not together anymore. so the answer to your question is yes we are....at least I am!

Don't try to be something you aren't. Just be yourself and if that's shy and quiet, there is a guy out there for you who will be attracted to those qualities. Have patience. Good things come to those who wait for them.

no it wont be impossible.but to answer your question it depends on the type of guy.some guys like when girls play hard to get,some like confident girls, and yes some do like cute,shy girls.but ill tell you the kind that most guys dont like.most of them dont like the kind of girls that are all up in there face,trying to seduce them.most guys like smart sophistacated girls.

Guys like different types. I've spoken to guys who have a thing for girls with dentures (and not just for what you might think).
