I'm just asking. It seems only *trolls* are allowed to post to these boards any more, them and their political 'bots. The minute I try to make a comment it gets censored because the system REFUSES to find the server, then deletes my attempted post on hitting the back button. Can you say censorship disguised as a browser glitch? :( Really, what is up with that??

Oh wait, I forgot, this is Yahoo, they only wanna hear from trolls, spammers, scammers, webcammers, political hacks...you know, the folks who PAY for the privilege of being a pest, like, oh, Beijing did so Yahoo could help them criminalize more of their own people. Gah. It isn't just my nation is it, the whole freaking planet is a dictatorship of the filthy rich and their sheeple hordes now....

Ok...just as an aside. I don't see why some see fit to judge my language as improper....I didn't cuss. Oh, and another thing. If I look like an evangelical sheeple to you, be advised I am not. As to how this question got through, my guess is, I got lucky? As in the people who most want to be tyrants (lucky us) are the ones least qualified for the job? *lol*

You are absolutely correct. When the news is not favoring the Bush White House and it's policies - the boards stay out of service until they do.
Go find a news message board about dog shows or something non-political - THOSE boards work fine.

I see a lot of people answering don't know the difference between Answers and the Message Boards. For those of you: Click Yahoo at the top left of the screen, select NEWS from the left side menu, pick a news article, read it and click discuss at the bottom.

There is no expectation of unlimited, uncontrolled speech on a privately owned website.

And to rense right above me: The press is not exempt from laws that apply to everyone else. The press is not exempt from laws protecting our national security. The New York Times is not exempt from the Espionage Act . . . .” (Nor, by the way, is that newspaper exempt from the crime of treason.)

The Espionage Act of 1917 was a United States federal law passed shortly after entering World War I, on June 15, 1917, which made it a crime for a person to convey information with intent to interfere with the operation or success of the armed forces of the United States or to promote the success of its enemies. It was punishable by a $10,000 fine and 20 years in prison. The legislation was passed at the urging of President Woodrow Wilson, who feared any widespread dissent in time of war constituted a real threat to an American victory.

Well, let's see. They allowed you to post this question didn't they. I think this is a wonderful site and I actually spend much more time on here than I should. Everbody has their own opinion and I have seen so many of them which are all so different from eachother. It allows me to learn so much about others. I have read some pretty radical opinions on here too.

I really just don't see what you are saying as true. I see quite a lot of freedom of speech on here. If something is said that offends someone, they simply reply to it telling them what they think.

Bradley P, yes all that and more, remember this date 6-26-2006 being the day mr. bush took away our freedom of speech on our Internet. Not to be Illuminated, but the real event of 6-6-2006 happened on 6-26-2006, the day we lost our Freedom of Speech!

If what you say is true, how did THIS question mysteriously get through? Perhaps you should consider using proper language when you post those other questions. You obviously are capable of it. Stop you're whimpering! Oh, and one other thing.....

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!

(See, I can speak "sheeple!")
