mine was smaller after. I had to have stitches to fix a tear from giving birth, I was stitched up a little tighter or else it healed a little tighter than before giving birth. Also I pushed out a 8Lb 8oz baby boy totally naturally and still went tighter afterwards. If you don't wait long enough after delivery to start having sex again the vagina likely will not go back as small as it would have if you had of waited. A friend of mine didn't wait more than a week or 2 and has regretted it ever since. I waited nearly 6 months before fully having sex and was tighter, btw she had about the same number of stitches as I did. By fully having sex I mean that we tried twice before but my husband had to stop almost right away and didn't finish either time. I have a very patient and understanding husband.

some do and some don't. Keep in mind that more than 1/4 of all babies are being delivered via a c-section so there's no stretching of the vagina.

There are exercises, kegel exercises all women should do to keep the muscles tight. Otherwise you may leak pee after a baby or as you age.

Well, you're shoving a baby the size of a basketball through a hole the size of a quarter. Vaginal muscles will stretch after childbirth. There are certain exercises that you can do to tighten them back up again, but I can't remember what they're called at the moment.

I don't think it will be a big significance. However, after pregnancy your boobs will be smaller than they were originally before.
