niiiiice save!! I've actually taken a dry contact (totally dry and crispy) and let it soak and it was still a viable contact!! Just make sure you disinfect as well as check it for any scratches or tears (can happen with water!).

First, off I used to wear glasses. I'm still supposed to wear glasses I don't wear them because of those marks they put around your nose. I hate that. My option would be contacts, I never would wear contacts on the count that I hate putting my finger in my eye. Also, I have the ruffneck mentality, I never know when I might have to do battle with someone and if you get into a fight and you have on contacts the results can be damaging. For those two reasons I don't wear contacts at all!

You can still use it but first disinfect it in the solution for a while. Don't make a habit out of using water though. It can destroy the lense and harm your eyes if not properly cleaned and disinfected

You can still use it. However, it may not last as long as it should.
People will tell you otherwise but it's really not that big a deal.
Just make sure to thouroughly clean it before it goes into your eye again.

if it wasn't in water very long than you can. but i would leave it in solution for a long time so that it get lots of moisture. water dries contacts out.

Please do not be concerned.
Your contact just needs to re-hydrate and it'll be like new.
I'm thinking about ordering one of those do-it-yourself home Lasik kits.
Costs a third as much as going to a specialist.
I think eBay has a few.
