Alright here's the story: This guy, I guess he likes me, because he stares a lot at me from his house, whenever I'm on the porch, one day he was crossing the street from my side of the house, he was looking at me, I didn't know this until I put my head up, and I found his eyes on me or whatever. Last year, our block had a block party, and he was just waving my mother down, saying "Hi," with a big smile on his face, of course I was on the porch, I was actually next to her. He waved at me first, and then he waved to my mom, and did all of that stuff lol. But If he likes me or whatever, how do I go about telling him that I like him too. My mom doesn't know I like him, she allows me to date and everything, but I dont know if the guy moms knows that he likes me or whatever, and my mom and his mom, well they don't "talk," like that, but they talk like neighbors are supposed to. What do I do?

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?
Just remember, take each moment like it will be the last. This I feel will be a good start for you in knowing. Good Luck!!!!!!!

It'll be REALLY nerve-racking, but I think it will be cool if you approach him.

(He'll probaly think its really hot)

And you can just make it casual, you know...like "Hi, I'm _____. What's your name?"

And if he doesn't really talk much because he's shy or something, then maybe you can tell him you've seen him around a couple times and would like to get to know him. If you put that out there, he'll most likely think you are very bold.

Remember, he's probably as scared of you as you are of him.

So take the upper hand as soon as you can.

Hope everything turns out well! =]

I would get a group of friends together and go somewhere casual like a movie or pizza place. Then, ask him if he'd like to go along. If he goes, talk to him and try to sit next to him. Guys are very shy and don't like rejection. If he likes you, he'll go with the group (and you) and have fun. If he's not really interested, he'll probably turn you down and nobody gets hurt.

He likes you. I see he lives right by you?..pretty sweet. Just start by talking to him, go to his door someday and ask him if he wants to go for a walk with you, or if he hangs out. If you dont wanna go to his house, then just call him. Im sure he wants to be with you, but is to shy to make the first move, dont wait to long though and let him slip away. Remember to be yourself, and try to find common intrests. I hope im of help!
