Yes, most fruits are 60 calories per cup. One half of a large banana is 90 calories. A really good website for seeing the amount of calories you eat and their nutrient break down is below. On this site you can see the vitamins, minerals and calories of what you eat. You can also see how your exercises relates to your food intake.

RE: What about sweet fruits such as peach, mango or banana? Can a diabetic eat them? Experts say all fruits and vegetables can be eaten in diabetes as long as you keep an eye on your blood sugar levels. What if taking blood sugar measures is difficult after every fruit intake? Are there predetermined standards available like calories count on food packages?

Yes there are calories in just about everything unfortunately! Fruits, tho are great for you, and you should eat them anyway. They contain alot of liquid, fibers, and the sugars they do contain are readily absorbed into your body easily, because they are natural fruits, and different from table sugar. I have a nutritionist friend who says "we've never had anyone die from too many fruits or veggies." Good point huh!

Most fruits are about 50-150 calories per serving, depending on the fruit. Watch out for dried fruits, they are much higher.
Apples: ~80/apple
Oranges: ~60/orange
Watermelon: ~50/cup

Of course!! Just about kind of food has some calories in it. In fact, fruits contain quite some calories compare to vegetables; they are very sweet. But if you compare fruits to sweets like cookies and chocolates, fruits are actually much healthier. They contain lots of nutrition that junk food don't contain.

Yes, there are calories, but the calories don't come from fat. So, that makes them very easy to burn off.
Check out the site below for specific fruit & calories.

Yes, there are. Fruits are about 80% water, but the second ingredient is sugar (fructuose and/or glucose). Fiber is a distant third.

Yes and they all contain sugar, too. The fiber content makes them worthwhile calories, though.
