i have worked shifts all my working life (10 years) so i really don't have a sensible sleeping pattern. if i am on an early shift (7am start) i try to be in bed by midnight and hope to be asleep by 1am, if i am on a late shift (2pm start) can be as late as 4am before i go to bed and will be up by about 10am at the latest. i am a bit of a nightmare when it comes to sleeping.
