Possibly but it is very hard so you may want to wait until you have a spouse. It makes it hard to meet someone if you have tons of kids at home. The state tells you how many kids you can take in, i don't think you can choose whether you take in one or two kids, they may give you more than you expect. You have to contact family services/ your state to get information about becoming a foster parent. Read all the info the state gives you before deciding. Discuss this with family, friends, your BF/GF.

i can speak for the UK (not knowing where you are)
subject to appropriate checks and completing training courses i cant see why being single to be a barrier to you being able to foster.
it would have a bearing on what type of child(ren) you will be sent tho
being single you are probably less likely to get sibling groups - and being a younger female you would be less likely to be sent older children especially teenage boys to be looked after.
From my own research into it you are generally 'ok'd' for a particular profile (say age 4-9 years or whatever) and get sent children that are close to that profile
I wish you well - I do admire people who are ready and willing to open their home and their hearts to young people who need support at a down time in their lives

Sure, go to your local Administration for children services they will make sure you have adequate housing, a income they will do a criminal background check, checking for felonies and any reported abuse, finger prints and give you some classes, I suggest that you start with emergency foster care because children removed from their homes often need a place to stay now.

Yes it is possible. Some private agencies have different rules, but generally you have to be over 21, and have a spare bedroom for the child. I think they'll even pay for day care if you're working. Good luck!

Depends on your state. Most foster agencies will not place children with unmarried people. They prefer couples who have been married for awhile, have stable jobs and income!
