Practice every day

For maybe a week try doing 30 situps at a time, the next week try doing 40, next week, 50 etc.
Same for pushups, though those are harder so you might have to start out less.
Do some everyday before you go to bed AND/(or) when you wake up.

You will need to start right away! All of the above are good advice just starting slow doing the very thing you are wanting to do. Do a few push ups at a time, how many can you do? Do those daily and add a few every time, the same for your crunches.
If you have a gym facility handy use it! Or if you have weights at home, bench press to strengthen your chest, and exercises to strengthen your back, also biceps and triceps. See you thought it would be simple huh! I can tell you by strengthening your chest, arms, & back the pushups will be a snap, as they primarily work the chest and triceps. I strength train these areas and can easily do push ups. Get started now, it will take alittle time, but you can do it!

You got to start out building the muscles first. I would start out with simple crunches first. 4 sets of 10, using a ball of something in your hands and reaching for your knees, laying on your back. Then as the muscles grow stronger, I would try to go ahead and do the full sit up with your hands behind your head or on your chest.

50 situps in not a big feat, pushups are harder. just practise this every night, till you can do it in 2 mins, even if you have to start out by doind 15 every night, then do that!

The best exercise that will build arms and legs is the wheel. Buy a 10$ wheel at your local sporting goods store and see how far you can roll it in front of you and then come back and go from there. You can do it in front of a wall to stop the wheel at a specific position.

do them every day, make sure you pull your stomache muscles in when you are doing the sit ups or crunches. your stomach muscles are the only ones in your body that conform to the way you hold them when you work them...i.e. if you hold them in they will shape in and if you push them out when working you will end up with a stomache that sticks out no matter how much you work it......the stomache muscles are also the muscles you can work every day ... so just keep workin them and remember to suck in the stomache when you do.
