I really like most dogs, though my favorite is the German Shepherd. They're really loyal and are awesome protection dogs (I may be biased because my uncle trains them to be police dogs).
If I were to get a dog of my own, though, I may go to the local pound or animal shelter and pick up the dog that calls to me. That's sort of how I got my cats, and they've been the best pets ever.

I have a pembroke welsh corgi but I also like english springer spaniels and of course the good old black lab. All are very intelligent dogs with a lot of character. Those are my picks

I like big dogs. I had a Mastiff for 5 years, he was a big baby! I loved him!! So I'm gonna go with Mastiff :)
