No, it really is a diagnosis, maybe you should try googling it to see for your self instead of being lazy and asking

NO NO NO NO NO!!
I imagine there may be some lazy people who say they have cfs and don't ... but please please don't let that detract from the many people who suffer with this!
A person with CFS is often so debilitated that they are bedridden. Not only is there extreme fatigue, but severe weakness as well, sometimes a person is so weak they can scarcely hold their own head up. There are also other symptoms with it, like sore throat, nausea, light headedness, dizziness, shortness of breath. If a person has Fibromyalgia as well (and many do) they are also in constant severe bodywide pain.
Also, almost every person i have ever met with either or both of these conditions was/is a "type A" personality that was always busy, active, often athletic. Most still do as much as they can whenever they can, and would do about anything to sitll be able to all the things they once did.
Hope this helps.
It's hard cuz people can't see the illness, but it is very very real.

maybe for some people, but, not all ! my best friend has fibromyalgia...and I can tell you, from personal experience, that she is not faking, nor is she "just lazy"! This woman suffers every single day of her life...she was a "go getter" until this hit...owning 2 businesses, and working at a hospice in her off time. when it came on, it came on slow, and she was able to deal with it at first, then it hit her full force, and her life has not been the same since. It kills me to watch her some days...it's like her body has a mind of it's own..and won't let her do what she needs to do. I've seen her take several hours just to be able to get up and get out of the bed and get dressed in the morning. that's not normal ! And, I know this woman, very, very well...she's not lazy!!!! She could normally run circles around any teenager I know!
So, my answer would have to be...maybe some people are just lazy, and say that they have chronic fatigue...but, they are the ones who give a bad name to the people who are really suffering from fibromyalgia and other diseases...and that's a shame!

No...some people actually do experience a decline in energy. They can never get enough sleep. They could sleep 12 hours and still feel exhausted. Has to do with the chemical balance in the brain.

NO...it is a "real" physical condition...could stem from many things as depleted adrenal glands to hormones to vitamine defficiency and on and on...I have it and am working to overcome it...I have the want to, my body will just not cooperate and tires very easily.
Laziness is someone who doesn't have the "want to" for anything
BIG DIFFERENCE.....it is a true physical condition

I don't think so. I think maybe fibromyalsia may be another name for it. Or maybe Epstein-Barr Syndrome. I think it's something that is very difficult to diagnose, but is very real.

no CFS is when you try, but can't. laziness is when you couldn't be bothered to try.
