The age old stereotype of the skinny innocent hungry villagers and the overweight, well fed, greedy king. it doesn't apply, anymore. Many people think (like in that previous question a few minutes ago) that if you're not thin, you don't have willpower. but along with the other ignored comments I mentioned before, willpower also depends on whether or not the person wants to be thin. sometimes we want someone to lose weight who doesn't have a problem with with. just because we don't like the way it looks, doesn't mean that person doesn't.

Yes, unfortunately I do too. This is a great person with a gifted personality, and because of the size has a hard time getting employed, bummer. Many times it's heredity too.

Plenty of people. That is because the Western version of attractivess is blonde hair, blue eyes, and thin or at least slender.
Overweight people are the most discriminated against.

because we are groomed by this damn society to do so. the only way we won't do it is to open our eyes and see that there is more to a human being than their size. i can promise that not one of us will be lying in that coffin and have someone say, "my god. would you look at those thighs?!!"

It's just human nature to judge what we see. We can't help it! All we can do is keep our comments to ourselves.
