I have known this person for 2+ yrs and we love each other. The only problem is the age difference is kinda large and it is socially unacceptable. Should i wait two more yrs til it is ok for us to date or should i just move on?

While waiting those two years, you could be dating others, just so that you know that in two years, you have looked at other people fairly and know for sure, deep in your heart, that there really IS no other, and this other older person is the only one you will ever every want to be with for the rest of your natural born life.
Go ahead and see others. That way, when asked later, you can honestly say you gave others a fair chance but while they were nice, in the end, your experience only confirms you were right all along.

I was in a sitaution similar to this but the age difference wasn't as big as you make yours sound. Even if you wait 2 years, the age difference will still be the same. If you are worried about not being socially accepted, that factor will still exist. I too would say date others and if its real, you'll meet again!

You don't give specifics about the ages and stuff. I assume you are under age in your state. Back off. Date others. If it is real it will still be there in 2-3 years.

Love knows no age. If it is a social thing, why worry what others thind or say? If it is against the law for you to be together , if you truley love each other then what's 2 years.

well if it were me i would probably just get on with life , and see where things are at when i was older.. if you're meant to be together you guys will be fine.. :)
