Not. I know this from personal experience. I am a scorpio and my ex is a sagitarius. We lasted long enough to have great memories and two children, but after that it was the end. I am still great friends with him and we hang out and talk like we have known each other forever (which his new wife does not like) but I think that it is just better for these two signs to be good/best friends.

Scorpio needs to control their mate...and a Sagittarius is the
most "free spirited" sign of the zodiac. They are forever seeking
their next adventure.
Add to that, the Scorpio is an emotional, sensitive water sign with
a lethal "sting" and the Sagittarius is an outgoing fire sign, that blurts out the unvarnished "truth" about everything.
There are much better combinations than this!

As a general rule these two are not a good match...
Sagittarius:
Flirty, daredevil, say what they mean, good sense of humor, outgoing, love of life, definitely flighty...
Scorpio:
Controlling, extremely jealous, very smart, conniving, committed, use every resource possible to get what they want.
These two signs are as different as night and day: Scorpio is a water sign and Sagittarius is a fire sign: if you think about it Fire puts out water...
Also Sagittarius is very flirty and flighty which scorpio does not necessarily like because scorpio's love to be in control of a situation and are EXTREMELY jealous people....they cannot stand when their loved ones flirt, etc...

well, greetings once more: astrology is very fascinating and quite helpful in predicting outcomes. there is a technique in astrology for analyzing both peoples natal charts and making a determination as to "compatability". but, this involves the whole chart of each and how they interrelate, not just the sun signs. there are plenty of websites for doing basic research on astrology, for sure. and, if you've never had your natal chart done, you can get a free chart and mini interpretation from www.alabe.org (may be .com, i forget)--click on free chart in upper left. good luck!

Scorpio is jealous and Sagittarius dislikes being nailed down. They make great friends--but better to stay friends.
I am a Sagittarius and all of my best friends are Scorpios. Dating one would be more temper/contol issues than I could deal with.

I'm a saggi girl and my hubby is a scorpio.We've been married for 3 yrs. now.Honestly,me and my hubby might not be soul-mates,we've our challenges in our relationship.But my scorpio hubby provides me the right perspective in many things in life.A scorpio is much more disciplined and a saggi can learn in that area.I think it's a rewarding relationship in many areas.Just needs a lil' work.But which relationship doesn't!!!

I will say this again and again - you don't pay attention to horoscope to determine longterm relationships. Look for someone who has the same likes/dislikes and value system. Be friends first and learn whether you are truly meant for each other rather than letting something as silly as horoscopes to let you miss someone who could be your perfect match.
