as a canadian..i've never noticed that..and secondly....for being the size of country we are (bigger then the us..in more ways then one) i find hard to believe that the whole country smells like that...and even if it did its probably just the wind carring it up here from the states

cause all they suey pipes is on top of the ground to prevent freezing, they leak some times , but its not all bad
