I am thinking about letting this guy go I need to get some advice

well give some detail like how is he no good? At least you figured it out in a quick amount of time you didn't waste years I would just tell him that you don't want to be with him anymore it's that's simple, you don't deserve to be treated badly... drop the jerk and find someone that will treat you right.

If you want to stay friends tell him in person
If you don't care do it over the phone.
(suggest using cell phone if you use your a
home phone he will know that you are there
and come pleading for a second chance)
Don't do it in a letter that just gets ugly every time.
And when you do tell him give some kind of reason even if you just make one up. I find that it is easier to accept and move on when there is a reason behind the action. if passable make sure that it is not something he can try to change or work on. As for what to tell him i can't help that is different for every circumstance.
Last but not least don't make it a production short sweet and to the point. drawing it out will just make it more complicated

Sweetie. It should be easy. If the guy is no good, then you know what to do. 3 months isn't too long. Call him up or sit him down and say it isn't working. Get out now before it gets too serious and you cause yourself more hurt.

Be honest. If he's mature he will take it in good stride and leave you alone. If he doesn't take a straight answer, just stop answering calls and decline all dinner dates or going out anywhere. He'll get the point eventually. Some guys can be dense about girls.

from a guy point of view you should just go to dinner and tell him the truth if you aint fellin him then it isnt fair to either of you. it better than staying with him if you dont want to be with him then dont thats the great thing about America fredom. How ever if he is a crazy one you may need a 50B
