no longer in uncomplicated phrases did Jesus turn the water into wine, it become the perfect wine the persons had ever tasted. It turned right into a wedding ceremony social gathering, I easily do not have any reason to trust Jesus himself did not also partake of this wine certainly he suggested: Luke 7:34 The Son of guy is come eating and ingesting; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous guy, and a winebibber, a buddy of publicans and sinners! This turned right into a lie besides the undeniable fact that, for he did not drink to the point of having less than the impact of alcohol. For he knew ALL scripture to boot as Ephesians 5:18 And be no longer less than the impact of alcohol with wine, in which is extra; yet be packed with the Spirit; We would keep on with his social gathering, we would drink wine, yet no longer to the point of drunkenness

I dont know why, but i can tell you from experience that red wine will get you drunk differently than other alcohal. Not to mention the hangover from even small amounts. Getting drunk in general is affected by weight, gender, and overall tolerance (which can be built up). Everybody is different.

The link below will take your gender, body weight and drinking pattern into consideration to determine how much you can safely drink. For me, I would be considered legally impaired after two glasses of wine.

red whine goes 12-14/15%. How much certainly depends on your tollerance & body weight, not to mention over what time period you drink. Go check the MADD website or something, I think they have a calculator on there, or it shouldn't be hard to find elsewhere.

How much it takes to get you drunk depends on a few factors, largely, your weight. Also, wine in general is stronger than beer, but weaker than liquor.
Alcohol Facts:
Wine in general is 7% to 15% alcohol, with the average being 11%. (This means its about 22 proof.)
"As a rule of thumb, an average person can eliminate 0.5 oz (15 ml) of alcohol per hour. So, it would take approximately one hour to eliminate the alcohol from a 12 oz (355 ml) can of beer."
1/2 an ounce of alcohol is about what's in one standard serving of beer, wine, or liquor. One standard serving= 12oz. beer, 5oz. of wine, or 1.5 oz. of 80 proof liquor.
So, 5 oz. of wine is about half of a standard wine glass=one serving. Your body can eliminate one serving of alcohol an hour.
However, this in an average, more closely to the average male's ability to eliminate alcohol. Women have a slower ability to get rid of alcohol, because our organs that get rid of the alcohol (kidneys, liver, and lungs) are smaller, on average, than males'. In all of the alcohol education that I've been through from middle school to college, I've heard it takes about an HOUR AND A HALF for a woman to get rid of one serving (0.5 oz) of alcohol.
It also depends on individual factors as to how alcohol affects you and how much. The less you weigh, the more concentrated the alcohol is in your system, and the longer it takes your body to get rid of it-i.e. you can be drunk easier, longer, and/or more severe.
Other factors, such as if you have a full or empty stomach and carbonation affect how quickly alcohol is absorbed and how quickly your BAC rises. (With food in your stomach, the food absorbs some of the alcohol, so there is less alcohol absorbed while it is in your stomach. This alcohol DOES get abosorbed later by the intestines. In the meantime, the alcohol abosrbed by the stomach gets in your blood much faster and is processed by your liver faster.
I would say that for a 120lb. woman, 2 drinks in one hour should make her feel tipsy, unless she has a high tolerance, which is bad! 3 drinks in an hour should probably get you drunk.
Your BAC-Blood Alcohol Content, is what really matters. If this gets to high, then you can die (at BAC 0.5%). (Not 50 percent, but half of one percent.) Here is a BAC calculator to help you determine alcohols general affects on you. http://www.ou.edu/oupd/bac.htm. Also, here are the legal BAC limits for those of age and those under-age: http://www.drunkdrivinglawyers.com/bac-chart.cfm
Hope this helps, and drink safely!

it usually takes me about a glass and a half. in my experience, red wine is the quickest way to get drunk quickly, but you pay for it really soon and really hard. don't mess with it.
