Where your mind goes your bodies can follow. To gain intimacy, you might have to try building trust. Start by doing something nice every day for him. Have him agree to do the same. Not a big thing; just something small and unexpected, like bringing them a cup of coffee.

Touch each other once in awhile, casually, on the arm or on the cheek, without having to go all the way down the road. Nobody's perfect, and things will change as you get older, but try to reassure the other that you love them flaws and all. Maybe it will lead to a more natural, trusting, relaxed atmosphere that can lead in turn to a return to sexual intimacy.

Consult a sex therapist, after you both see a doctor. Sometimes hormone fluctuations will kill your libido. So can the pill or anti-depressants. A doc can diagnose and treat if any of these are the case.

Barring any medical problem, a sex therapist will help you reconnect. Sometimes it is hard after a long dry period. If you love each other, it should come back.

There are two other possibilities - maybe he's asexual, not everyone is really interested in sex, even though they can enjoy the relationship of a marriage, or two

he may be gay, either practicing on the down low (hidden) or not. Since our society is so rough on homosexuals, a lot of men who really are not attracted to women marry anyway under the mistaken believe that they can choose their sexual orientation, though all they can really control is their actions.

You should both check out the web site www.loveandrespect.com, I'm sure it will help, and of course put God at the center of your relationship. He created the universe he can fix your problem. If you both seek God first and his righteousness, all the desires of your heart will be fulfilled.
