I AM THERE!!!
It seems that even though I'm going through one of the most loneliest valleys, whenever anyone asks me to pray for them, the words just flow...
That, my dear, is the Power of the Holy Spirit!
He flows through our willing hearts.
My own prayers on the other hand, even though its a tough time, I know that God IS working, and that no matter how repetative I can be, He is bringing big changes...

No I dont. I realize that I cannot do much for myself at time but pray for myself. I am going thru that right now. After my husband died and I was quite alone, I met a lovely woman at church who was having some troubles and we would call each other at 5am ( both of us days that began early) and we became each others prayer partners. The first week, we prayed for one another and then she taught me how to pray for myself whic hwas hard for me to do. I thought it was selfish. God wants us to do this; so now, I do it.

I understand...I start to feel selfish when asking for myself, especially when others are going through worse.

Of course. We don't like to ask for things for ourselves.
Doing or asking for things for others is much easier.
