Is there anything you can get from around the time you met, or something she that will remind her of a really good time in your life together?

I think the best anniversary we ever had.I had made all the arrangements before handI had a preacher coming to our house
my wife was about the only one in town that didn't know what was going on.At about 5:00 that evening ask her where she wanted to go then I told her to get ready. When she came down I got down on my knees and ask her if she would marrie me all over again. That was the best night of our then 25 years.the first time in seven years all of our kids were in town.It was Christmas eve."our anniversary is new years eve.We had been split up for about six months. That is something we will never forget
Try it she will love it and you for it.Good luck and many more happy years together may love be with you both

You don't mention if you have kids or not, but if you do, then just a romantic dinner, just the two of you would do the trick. If she likes to dance, take her to a nice club where you both can relax and have some fun enjoying each other. I think that would be the best gift you could get her! Good luck to you!

When I come up with gifts for my husband, I think of things he's always wanted to do but either hasn't had the time or hasn't had the guts to do it with out me setting it up.

On his 25th b-day I bought him a skydiving day (told him ahead of time so he could prepare himself), 29th b-day surprised him with a weekend trip to Chicago to see the Cubs play (he thought we were just going to lunch with a friend in Portland where we lived except we went to the airport instead) and on his last b-day I surprised him with his first flying lesson.

As I'm sure you know after 18 years of marriage, us women prefer the effort AND thought you put into the gift than the gift itself.

Good luck and congrats on the anniversary!!!!

Treat her to a weekend at a spa.
Or take her away to a romantic destination for the weekend.
Or try an activity holiday - something like Pony trekking, paint-balling, quad biking etc.
Or buy 18 red roses.
Or give her 18 "vouchers" for various treats of your choice.

So sweet u still care, is she into animals, one from an animal shelter in need of a home, nice bow around it.
How about a vacation, book the ticket, etc, will work if she likes suprises. There is a fantastic hotel in dubai under the sea but it will cost u.
good luck

18 years..wow! Hm..how about trying...something creative. A hot air balloon ride. Send her on a wild goose trail. Go on a weekend vacation. Or how about re-making the first time you two met. Something like that. That's always fun. Plus..I give you points for even remembering your anniversary! Congrats !

Hire a maid for the day? (for her, not for you to oggle at!)
Day at a spa
A day ponytrekking
Picnic in the country
A beautiful tree/plant for the garden
Get your marriage blessed and have a party
Get rid of the kids for the day
An eternity ring
A day at a photo studio being pampered and having sexy shots done for you!
sponser an animal in her name at local zoo
salsa lessons
Weekend away

You know her better than any of us lot, think about her hobbies, what does she like watching on tv, what books does she read. Im sure you can think of something.

Or you could simply ask her what she wants?

Good luck!

Write her a letter describing all of the things she has done over the years to make you a happy husband and give it to her on a romantic picnic near a little inn (in your own city / town) where you can surprise her with a weekend getaway -- you'll have to suprise-pack for her

A vacation, a nice piece of jewelry, a new kitchen, - the gifts you could get her are limitless, but you know her best so you should decide what it is she would love. If she has a hobby that she loves maybe you could get her something that would make it even better - for instance if she loves to jet ski, maybe get her one or get her a new one she has been eyeing.

Have you given her a massage certificate? What about a pedicure with full foot massage? OH SO GOOD!!! What about a nice new pillow, with a candle and some hand lotion for her nightly bedtime routine? Have you made her dinner? Have you cleaned the house?
