Yes, unfortunately this is true. For some this day will haunt us forever. For others, it's a memorable day.

I don't really know what was my first time. I tried to have sex when I was 15. I got scared because it was uncomfortable so I told the guy to stop. Is that the first time. Or is it the actual time that I went all the way? Either way. I don't think much of either one of those guys. I did not have real feelings... In both cases I just wanted to experiement. So when I met a real man I could be experienced! Make your first time special.

The way you might remember him is different depending on the situation. You always remember the first person you made love to, but if your first sexual experience was abusive, like rape, then the memory is very different. Keep in mind however, that it's not a lost memory, because when you eventually are with the person you choose, he will be your real "first".

ANY guy you have sex with you will remember...especially the first...Unfortunately :)
Just a bit of wisdom...Wait til you know that this is THE guy you want to be with for the rest of your life...I know that sounds a bit old fashioned especially coming from a fairly liberal girl...but trust me I know too many people who have been so hurt and have gone through so much emotionally when you add sex to a relationship that it really is worth the wait!!!!

I would think . Having sex for the first time is a memorable thing and if you dont remember it then I would have to say that that really sucks.

Well, I think so
(but I suppose there are some people who wouldn't remember... I'm not one of them).
It would depend on the situation in which you lost your virginity. If you were wasted at the time (or something to that degree), it would/could be more difficult to recall that memory later.

I think so, mostly because you remember how much better it got after that first time! If you are heading in that direction, makes sure it is someone who cares about you & that both of you use contraception (to maintain good health and prevent pregnancy). Take Care!

Well, I guess everyone remember who is the first person they had sex with, but it's not necessary to think of him to the rest of your life.

Not only him but every one who, not only sex but every one that at some point, touch your very heart, but if you would like to forget all you have to do is: Do not live in the past, always live in the present and memories are never in the present just in the past.

I will, but only because he was a complete jerk. A week later he broke up with me, saying he didn't want to be "tied down" and wouldn't even consider marriage before he was 30. Six months later he married the skankiest girl in town!
