I have two personal choices.
Japan and San Diego. Navy wouldn't let me stay for a third tour in Japan, 7th Fleet has guidelines that sailors must return to the US after 2 tours.

San Diego was just plain fun!!

Well it was Roosevelt Roads in Puerto Rico (beautiful) but they closed that base down. I'd have to say it would probably be Siganela or Sardinia in Italy. If you want to stay in the US, probable Virginia (many bases on the water, Portsmouth, Norfolk, etc). The problem is, there is much military, you can't get away from it!

NAS (Naval Air Station) Whidbey Island, Washington is nice.

NAS North Island isn't bad either.

Washington is very nice but if I could choose any duty station it would be Sembawang, Singapore.
