Find a Spirit filled church. One that uses the Holy Bible (only) and one that urges relationship and not "religion."

Religion is how man tries to reach God/Jesus.

Relationship is how God reaches us through Jesus Christ.

Grace to you and God Bless...

Cant tell you much about the Methodists, or Presbyterians, but I went to a Baptist school, and attended a Baptist church for many years, so I can tell you about that one. Email me if youd like.

dont know the difference between methodist and presbyterian. dont join baptist. was their church founded by the apostles of christ? was peter ever the head of their church? did those christians esperience penticost in 29 AD? is their teachings the teachings of the apostles and their successors...read the early church documents and see for yourself. there is only one church in the whole would which its roots can be traced from now till the time of jesus - the catholic church. most people dont believe it because it is sort of different...duh of course it wouldnt be exactly the same...the church cant remain an infant forever. it must mature and grow in faith and understanding. join the catholic church.

not much difference between methodist, presbyterian, and episcopalian. I would recommend an independent church. It means they are simply following the bible, started by a preacher independently. I also recommend Assembly of God, most of them are pure bible. Just stay away from man-made religion. One difference is Presbyterians have accepted homosexuality, there's one instance of not holding the bible as the incorruptible word of God.

As a soon-to-be-former Presbyterian, I would say avoid that denomination because it has basically turned it's back on the Bible. If learning about the Bible developing a relationship with Jesus is important to you, I would suggest finding a local Calvary Chapel.

Read a bit about the early Christians and find the church that mostly closely resembles theirs. Don't be fooled too much by initial appearances. oh and read the writings of the early Christians, not just some random person's opinions about them.

Many churches vary drastically even within denominations the best way to determine if where you are going is correct is to actually read that Church's doctrinal statement.
