Animals (whether they are pets or not) do not have souls. Therefore, they do not have a soul that needs to be saved, so they do not go to heaven or hell. They have personalities, per say, but not souls.
I'm also baptist, but it doesn't make much difference in my answer what denomination of Christianity I am, does it?

I personally believe animals do not have a soul, so they do not go to either heaven or hell. When they die, I think that is it for them-they don't exist anymore in any form. I'm a Baptist too, and this is what I've always believed.
If people want to reference the scripture "the lion will lay down with the lamb"-first of all, that particular order of words isn't even in the Bible. I'm no Bible scholar, but I believe that is first mentioned in Isiah 11: 5-7:
Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins,
And faithfulness the belt of His waist.
6 “ The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb,
The leopard shall lie down with the young goat,
The calf and the young lion and the fatling together;
And a little child shall lead them.
7 The cow and the bear shall graze;
Their young ones shall lie down together;
And the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
If you read this chapter in whole, you will see it is referring to the second coming of the Lord or , "The reign of Jesse's Offspring," as one version titles this chapter. I don't think it means that these animals are in heaven, but on the 'new earth,' and basically that there is peace on the new Earth. For all I know, talking about animals getting along with each other and not eating each other could be symbolic, meaning that people and the nations get along. But if it is literal, then I think it's referring to on the Earth, and those animals at that time.
Hope that helps!

The Bible speaks about animals in Heaven, animals giving praise and even providing a sacrifice for animals. I believe they go to heaven.

Lots of people saw pets don't have a soul so they don't go to heaven or hell, but I personally don't believe that, I think they go to heaven.

No one knows
Ecclesiastes 3
18 I also thought, "As for men, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. 19 Man's fate is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath ; man has no advantage over the animal. Everything is meaningless. 20 All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. 21 Who knows if the spirit of man rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?"
22 So I saw that there is nothing better for a man than to enjoy his work, because that is his lot. For who can bring him to see what will happen after him?

That's a very good question...
I believe that most animals die, are buried, and that's it... But, I also believe that if a Christian wants his pet in heaven, he/she can ask God if that pet will be in heaven when he/she goes to heaven, and God will supply that persons desire.
That is just a theory, but if you think about it...there are animals in heaven. God is not going to send an animal to Hell for doing nothing. And God is not going to bring every cow, every snake, every leopard to heaven. But I do believe that if you ask God to take your pet to heaven, then He probably will have your pet waiting for you when you get there.
I believe that all that I have said is true, but let me leave you with one last thought... We cry when our pets die because we miss them, and we are thinking about how much we will miss them and how much happiness that they brought to our lives. When we get to heaven, God's companionship will be all we need to be happy for an eternity.

Your pet will go to heaven, because you loved it. And in heaven that is what truely matter. A person or pet is mashed by the love they where given and gave.

Apparently, only beings that posses a conscience go to heaven or hell. Animals and other creatures, not possesing a conscience, simply die since they do not have any knowledge of such things.
