im building a special effects prop .
and ive run into a problem ..
im building a fake jet pack
and one of its features needs power.
it will have a small (120v, 60 hz , 700W ) fog machine
attached to it to emit smoke.
it will be worn by an actor ..
and no cables can be shown .
ive done lots! of test and the best idea
i can think of is to have some sort of battery powering the fog machine.
i can wire anything .
but were can i find a battery that can power this for a small time being . ???
that and are there any portable batterys out there?

ill apreaceate any logical thoughts and help!

u might need an inverter and a motorcycle battery. this will let u the 120v from the 12v battery.

I think what you are looking for is a generator. They are gas powered and some have pull cords on them like lawnmowers. Either that or you could go for a power inverter. Some of them can handle up to four appliances being plugged into them. You could try the Canadian Tire if you are in Canada. Wal*Mart if you are in the States. Otherwise, you just go to a hardware store in your local and ask for a power inverter that runs off your car battery.

get a small auto jump start box with a cigarette lighter port then get a 1000 w power inverter both are available at wal-mart
