Find someone to cosign with you. This will use thier credit to get you the loan, and when you pay it off, your own credit will improve. Of course, if you do not pay it, they will go after your cosigner.

Sounds like you need quick cash. Take some valuables to a pawn shop - tv, computer, DVD's, get a whole duffel bag full of stuff. They will use that as collateral to give you a small loan which if you don't pay off in 30 days, they keep your stuff. You can also pay for extensions on the loan. But in your other question you said you could afford 200 bucks a month. A pawn shop, doesn't deal in those high of loans most of the time. Save the 200 - or take your chances in a Casino.

There are private loaners who will lend you money with less hassle than banks or credit unions - but they will charge a lot more interest. Sometimes they advertise in the classifieds of the newspaper, or in the yellow pages. You will need to have some sort of collateral, too, but not necessarily as much as a bank would demand.

Now to fix that credit rating: First make sure you have paid off every single debt you have. Then get a secured credit card - this is like a debit card; you pay $500 to your bank and they give you a VISA. Keep using it and paying it off and they will give you a real credit card. It will also help if you own your own car or house, and if you have a steady job for a long time, especially if it's direct deposit. It took you time to mess up your credit and it will take time to rebuild it; I had horrible credit six years ago but did all of the above - and now have a $10,000 Line of Credit. Good luck!
