Don't worry about the weight gain, It is better than any alternative. I too know the feeling because of steroids. But after a while when you show improvement the Dr will cut th doseage. This helps. In the meantime just watch what you eat

Wait until you get better, and talk to your doctor about alternative options. My mom gained weight on a weird medication. She didn't have the chance to lose it until science came up with an alternative medication that works but doesn't have the side effects.
Until then, I guess you can only monitor your diet and make sure you are eating the most healthiest and proper way you should.

I dont think there s a solution for that one, I know steroids can wreck havoc in one's body.
However focus on teh fact that you are alive with the kidney transplant.
Ask you rdoctor pls , you may b trying people's suggestions when they arenot doctors and that will affect yr health.

drink limu, then the steroids will no longer be needed after a while and your body will get back to normal

wait until ur completly better and then eat healthy and do excersize if the pounds came on that easly they should come of easy
