Its called puberty. They are now finding out all about it and want more things to giggle and laugh about when they hang out with their friends. The parents are off getting drunk cuz they don't want to deal with their kids when they are going through "middle school years"

Honestly, some parents are too embarassed to talk to their children about sex, so the children go to the most convenient place to receive advice. In my personal opinion, they aren't old enough to need advice in an are of this sort. Face it, kids are going to ask, it's all about if they're getting the right answers or not. We must always be aware that there is a difference between a question that should receive an answer and one that should not. Look, listen and speak. We're all human, why not help another one out?

No dear, the parents are masquerading as the fourteen year olds. Seriosously, that's where they are. In one corner, you have innocent Susie, thinking she's talking to a pen-friend from Alabama or a far-away country. In the other, you have Frankfunkel, a fourty three year old man with a belly larger than the average elephant. He is also a father of three and a happily married man. Oh wait, but he also goes out with his Internet girl-friend, Susie from Wyoming.
•That• is where the parents are.

The parents have been upgraded to Aol 6.0, Netscape 8.1 and Microsoft.

Before that, I think for a good many of them, it was the kid at the next locker over.

Both potentially very bad sources for information. For one... I wonder how many Internet predators are surfing like a lion stalks prey at these questions. And another, peers are not always a good place to go for answers because they know less than they say, and exaggerate much.

However, curiosity and knowledge is obviously a normal thing, and they all deserve good, truthful answers. Please give your parents a chance, you younger ones. Don't take everyone on here's word for it, because they don't know you, and really... you don't know them, and who they really are.

I hear you man. Every time I see a question like that I try to let them know that they are honestly too young to even know about these things. I fear they are getting bad advice and going out and doing some of these things. I hope we can all help by thinking twice before we answer explicit questions that could be asked by minors. Good question.

Kids are starting to have sex at a very young age. They are too embarrassed to ask these questions except in an anonymous way, where no one can see who they really are. Don't you remember feeling self-conscious at that age?

I wish I knew, where the parents are, but I and I am sure, you did need to ask all these insane questions at that age too. We just didn't have this forum or the net to help us out.
I'm only hoping it's just information they want, not doing the actual deed.

The are bored and looking to entertain themselves by reading the ridiculous things that people answer. Their parents are probably clueless about it and just trying to focus on keeping their job and being able to provide for them.

Many parents see TV & the Internet as cheap babysitters.
They don't care what their kids are doing so long as it doesn't bother them.
