If your a Christian that wouldnt you follow Gods commands. Yes I know he will forgive you if your sincere in your repentance but if you do it over and over again knowing ly than arnt you not sincere?

I keep asking the same questions. I, personally, I don't believe anyone who claim to go to church everyday, they are always acting like they are holy (holy than thou)... others proclaim it and stab people in the back, will God truly forgive or are they just using christianity and church as a cover up... At the same time, I think that God knows all our hearts and he will definitely get those who are pretending to be sincere when they knowingly doing it over and over again. I pray for His wrath!

Church is a hospital for sinners, not a museum for saints. That's what my husband says, a retired United Methodist Pastor. But, you are right. When you confess your sins, you are supposed to go and "sin no more." So I guess I don't know the real answer to your question. Good luck in your quest. I hope you get some good answers.

They go to church to make themselves feel better about the things they do the rest of the week. Not really why you should go to church, but they do it anyway. I went to a private christian school. The preacher's and school director's children were angels on Sunday, but devils the rest of the week.
