It rather depends on the style of party you're having. The average 750mL bottle gives you between 4 and 5 glasses of wine. Now, if you are opening the bottles yourself and you don't have a trained waiter opening them for you, there will be spillage so to play it safe, only account for 4 glasses per bottle. Also, if you are having other things available to drink, you can probably drop the number of cases by a couple since people will probably switch through the party. Champagne is very much an acquired taste and it tends to make people drunk faster so if they have the option to have something else during the night, they will stop drinking the champagne earlier. Basically, if you get 32 bottles of champagne, you'll just have it covered. If you have any other questions, check out the website below and send me an e-mail.

Depends on the kind of party. Baby shower figure 2 glasses per. Birthdays/Anniversaries consider 3. Wedding consider 4 (toasts) and budget for 5 (don't want to run short on the champagne at a wedding).
I think that like a wine bottle, champagne bottles average 5.5 glasses per bottle (someone jump in here if I'm of on that).

How big are the bottles? If this is just for the toast, count on about 3 or 4 oz per person. I think that's how much those little plastic "wine" glasses hold. If you are going to set the bottle on the table, count a bottle for every 6 people if it's a large bottle or a smaller bottle for every 4 people.
Good luck..have a nice celebration!!

Etiquette dictates two glasses per person. But then, how big the glasses are depends on the the person serving the drinks. Four cases would probably do it, a fifth one to be sure.

Assuming everyone will be having some, I'd say 60-ish as well - unless you're just giving everyone a single glass, then maybe 40.
