My brother is 19 and is having a lot of anger management problems. He is lashing out at all of us, has attacked my stepdad, is abusive to my moms dogs (he kicks them if they are in his way), verbally abusive to all of us. Things started getting really bad when he started dating his girlfriend. Now he is dropping out of college. My dad was abusive toward me, but never to him, and my brother hasn't had much contact with my dad in the past 6 years, but now all of a sudden he says that none of us have done anything for him and my dad is the only one who understands him. We have given him everything, from a car, to paying the bills, to paying for his school. He's spoiled rotten and his behavior is out of control. Its gotten to the point that my mom took a leave of abcenss from work because she is having a nervous breakdown. We are looking into comitting him under a 302 for his, and our protection. Any help would be appreciated.

Contact your local police or the state police for assistance - or you could call the hospital emergency room - there are forms that would need to be filled out and by the sounds of it you have the grounds to 302 him because he is a danger to others and very possibly a danger to himself. The thing is even if you fill out the 302 papers and send him to the hospital (it will either be by ambulance or police - generally the police make this decision) the hospital will do an evaluation and decide whether he really needs the 302 committment or not - I hope this helps and I hope your situation turns out ok

My sister in law or the mother of my brothers baby is abusing her Adderal and is not taking care of my 2 year old niece properly while she is taking things apart and just crazy things like she is on speed, I am very concerned for my nieces safety. We have tried to go to Child services and they are no help at all, unless something bad happens to my niece and there is proof of neglect or abuse. We don't know what to do, My brother is incarcerated and will be for the next two years. My mother has power of attorney for my brother, Not only is she abusing Adderal, she is also a client at the local methadone clinic and has been smoking crack with her brother and mother, But we have no proof, Only the bank statements that show withdraws of constant amounts every few days.until 5000.00 is gone in a month. Please if anyone knows what we can do to maybe get her 302 and make sure my niece isnt injured or neglected.
