Do women think that when you have a kid you have baggage?

I have a little girl who comes first and I am finding that lots of women think that she is baggage. Why do they think that? I thought that women like kids. If the ex has anything to do with it don't they realize that any drama she brings up is my concern and not theirs?

A woman will love HER kids. A woman will quite likely love your kids too, if she was allowed an authoritative position and a real relationship with them, one where she isn't feeling like a third wheel.

Some women aren't ready for kids, not to mention ones that aren't hers, are probably grown a bit, and will propably have a problem with her at some point (most step kids do - assuming you do the smart thing and keep her out of the picture until you decide you want her to be a permanent fixture in your life). Unless you schedule your time with her around the child, then she'll most likely be part of taking care of the child, because, lets face it, they're demanding, and that can be hard for those without practice.

The ex is probably also a negative point, because who wants to have to deal with a bf's ex for their entire relationship? When you think of it, there are more negatives than positives, unless the woman is in that small percentage that will deal with anything.

I know I wouldn't date anyone with a child. I'm not ready for that.

Not all women like kids and yes I'm sure the ex is a huge factor because if they are dating you then it is their concern also i personally never dated men with kids until i met my husband he has kids an d i have kids i just do not like dealing with ex's and my husband was never married before me but i still have to deal with the ex

she comes first, you have baggage, by definition.

So, that's easy, ditch the guys that don't get that. It'll be hard, but you'll ease into mass dating.
