Why don't you move to Lake Arrowhead? It's really not that expensive. Seal Beach is even affordable believe it or not. Check out the arpartemts there.

I hated winding up there when I was to meet someone in Fontana my first year in the Coachella Valley. No cell phone at the time. Locked my keys in the car when I went into a mart to ask for directions and had to call road assistance. Ah, Riverside memories. Plus it's often cloudy and or rainy and foggy through there. Might as well live in WA.
