why doe's pepsi taste better in a can then a bottle? i had one the other day and when i was done with it, when i got home my friend came over with a 2 litter, and the pepsi in the can tasted alot better! why?

I personally think it's because the metal gets colder than the plastic of the bottle. I also found that pop in general goes flatter more quickly in the plastic bottle than in a can.

Actually, Pepsi would taste best in a GLASS bottle. The reason that your pop tasted better in a can is becuase aluminum is less porous than plastic, and less carbonation escapes. That's why glass is the best for taste. I only buy plastic bottles if I'm going to open and drink them right away.

i know what you mean i don't like buying the 2 liter Pepsi its tastes last better in a can i think its because of the aluminum can that conserves the flavor than the plastic

pepsi does taste much better from a glass bottle than a can or plastic container.

i believe its the clear plastic that causes it to lose some flavor, the sun or light hits the pepsi directly in a plastic bottle.

It's funny that you say that it tasted better in a can than in a bottle, when my grandfather is completely opposite... Me, I'll drink it in bottle,glass or can..but I will also drink coke in any of those...

the way that Pepsi was meant to be consumed is in a can and plus its allot more sexy to drink from a can than a bottle! ^_~

2 liters, 3 liters, even 100 liters lose the fizzzzZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz................. over time.
