I'm a 37 year old single mom with one little one, so I sure hope so!
Oh wait, I have no social life. lol Hang in there. There are women out there looking for a guy like you. Trust me.
Just be focused on your girls and you'll probably meet a nice woman through your kids activities. I am very focused on just being the best mom I can be right now - not dating.

I'm sure there is life as a single parent altho it wont be easy, socialising is difficult with kids at the best of times but not all women would be put off by the fact you have kids altho I'm sure some would feel like "been there done that not doing it again".
If you are in the U.K, Gingerbread is a great organisation for single parents, all the people who use it are in the same sort of situation.
People have got together through it but it is not a dating agency just help, friendship, days out and even holidays with other single parents, it could also be a great fund of babysitters lol
Life is going to be what you make it, even things that seem impossible can happen it's just not as easy.
I wish you luck but I'm sure you wont need it

Yes, there is. Just have a little faith and be patient. There is always hope so don't despair. Honestly, take it one step at a time and one day at a time. It's no fun being alone, but there is life being a 46 year old single Dad with 2 little ones. Good luck.

I'm married with two little ones. I'm 32 years old. Even with a partner it's hard to go out and let loose, so I feel for you. If you can find a babysitter though, I would go out with friends, go on dates, etc. I think there can be life at 46 given that you have adequate resources.

I spent 20 years bringing up my kids. I didn't date during that entire time. I'm 42 now and I have found a great guy to spend my glory days with. You can certainly have a life at 46. Even if your kids are small, there are plenty of women who admire a man who can take responsibility and devote much of his time and attention to his kids. That is a very attractive attribute in a man.

Your life is only as good as you make it. Get out there dad. Find someone to share happy things with...be it a lady friend or a good guy friend. There is life. You just have to find it - and by the way, little ones are great fun-finders, as well as conversation pieces. They don't have to do expensive things to be happy. A day at the lake and a picnic would please them just as much as a day at the amusement park. Once the ice is broken, a babysitter may be just the thing to help you let go for a few hours.

of course there is... there are two little lives running circles around you right now.
if you are asking about love, then, yes, there is that too. its hard being single with children, but hey, that just makes you a better man in my eyes. life is not over cause you are single, or cause you are getting older. its over when you just sit there and just watch it pass you by.
dont miss the beautiful things in life. when you learn to enjoy it more, you will see everything get better.
