A lot of good fortune cookie sayings. But really, the bible is meant as a spiritual guide (supernatural effects could just be to illustrate a point).

1. God does not come to earth anymore, does not speak to people. god does to speak to all his followers every day god does not need to come back to earth yet 2. God does not interefere in obvious ways (stopping the sun, pillars of fire, burning bushes). we have the word of god and his holy spirit the people back then did not have the word of god so god had some one tell the people and god performed miracles so the people could see he was telling the truth 3. Demons do not posess people, causing disease, epilepsy, etc. yes they do just not as often since jesus 4. Angels do not come to earth anymore (visibly). they are not needed the holy spirit lives in every believer and god talks to his followers There are more examples of what the world was like when the Bible was written that are completely different from the world we see today - What has changed? we have the word of god and the holy spirit WHY did the Bible make it seem SO OBVIOUS back then that there was a God in charge? they didn't have the word of god we do WHY is it NOT today? Is God trying to create doubt? Is he intentionally giving us reasons not to believe, or denying us reasons to believe? no he gave plenty of evidence with creation, the witness of men, his words in the bible, jesus

An unfinished bible. God is the reason for the supernatural. Take God out, and you get what the world has become today.
