The bible says America is one nation under god. Why can't we get these science books out of our skools and just teach the only true science, "The Bible"

Most likely because atheists do not believe in christianity nor any other religion.

The christian bible is not 'science'. If anything it should be classified as history & philosophy. Remember too, that not everyone who attends school is christian and should not be subjected to a learning something their parents may find objectionable.

I'd also like to know what book of the bible says America is one nation under god... I know that was added to the Pledge of Allegience in the Eisenhower Presidency during the cold war years but I sincerly doubt you will find a scripture for that in the bible since at the time the bible was written there was no America.

Because many people believe that it is not the true science, and because the other science can be prover where as god cannot be proven besides by a a random hope that who ever wrote the bible was true. I believe that religion is just the easy way out and that is why so many chose it. With out religion, people have no reason to live beside life itself. It is very difficult for many people to accept this so the accept religion instead. Also one of the reasons that there are so many christians is simple breeding. Atheist look for the planets good - less people, where as the christians look for the good of the family - lots of kids. This gives them an unfair advantage. I believe once you see the death of a suffering person or homelss christians on the street you cannot believe in a benevolent god any longer. A quote you might find interesting is by Confucios. It goes something like this: I like your Christ. He was gracious gave and loved. I do not like your christians, they are so unchristlike.

The Bible has plenty of references to the Big Bang Theory. Read "The Creator and the Cosmos" by Hugh Ross. He's a Christian scientist and in his book he has many references that compare the Big Bang Theory to the Bible.

because were not gullable enouh to beleive in fairy tales.

wow...boy am i glad youre not a teacher.

first off christians make up about 75% of the US population, not 90%. the bible doesnt say that america is one nation under god you asshat. it was put on our money during the 1950s because the government was scared of communists. the bible says squat about america. good gravy how old are you?

science class is no place for fairy tales, you want fairy tales? go to kindergarden class. at least there youll get people who are gullable enough to beleive them.. be warned, they get grumpy if they dont get naps.

the bible is scienc? yeah right. you cant tell but im laughing my a*s off.

I really need to correct this. I am a Christian. And I believe in both theories. The computer is not mentioned in the Bible, but it exists. The laser is not mentioned in the Bible, but it exists. The Bible is not a science book, it is a religious book.

Uh because they don't belive in god. And i'm agnostic. Which means that i belive in god but don't follow an organized religion and I belive in evolution and the big bang theory. The bible is a contradictory load of BS. I'm sorry you've been brainwashed. I'll pray for you.

I totally agree with you. In school we can't even have a bible with us but muslim people are allowed to wear those ugly scary capes. That crap is scary, especially if your little. To some people a bible is just a book. That crap ain't fair. How should they be able to exsprtess their fake beliefs and we can't even read the stuff that's real. It's definetly not fair. How can they be able to exspress their religion in school but us christians aren't allowed to exspress ours by simply reading the bible. If that wre the case why should girls walk around with belly button rings or why should gays and leses be so proud about it?

Your question, besides being spelled horribly, is contradictory, and disproves of itself.

We don't believe in the bible! We honestly could not care less of what is written it it: we don't follow it!

We follow our judgement, lucidity, reason, logic, and intelligence.

We don't believe in science fiction deities, which means we don't believe there is such a thing as a deity's 'word'.

And America is a continent, not only a country. Don't hoard the title, will you?

The harder athiests try to disprove the existance of God, the more they prove that He is real. Science is, to me anyway, mans attempt to understand the workings of this beautiful universe God has created and placed us in.
