I have been with my boyfriend for about 2yrs - long distance relationship. We've been meeting every couple months and now he is planning to move here. Everyone in my family knows about my disease but I have not been able to tell him about it because i fear of losing him. Once, he had seen my pills in my purse and he was asking about it. I said that it was just for headache .The worst thing is that , i feel as if have been cheating on him because i take my pills only when im sure that he is not around and he has no idea about it. I really want to let him know but i just dont know how to put it in front of him.

Just tell him straight out. The fact that you've been together for two years means that there must be a fair connection there and he should understand. If he does not understand, maybe he's not the right man for you.

hmmm... well if he does love you he will understand and be ok with your condition. You definately cannot keep lying about it because one day he will find out on his own and that will be worse. I would tell him after he moves -- since he will be busy doing that. Break it to him nicely. Maybe include stuff like "remember when you found those pills in my purse and I said they were for a headache... well, there is something we should talk about... I was worried that you would leave me...." Good luck, but def tell him soon.

It will not be an easy thing to do... no easy way to tell him... but it is important that you do. It will be a test, if for nothing else, of his love. Yes, the chances of losing him are there but it would be better to be up front otherwise you will regret it for a long time. In view that you are in long-distance relationships.. I would just simply inform him by letter... If he wants to keep up the relationship, he will do so but be prepared...... Good luck

Knowledge is the best medicine. Let him accompany you to a Dr. appointment. Talking openly about any questions he has will hopefully make him feel more comfortable. Once its out in the open tell him how it made you feel awful to take your pills behind his back. If he loves you he will understand your feelings.

tell him up front friendship should be there if he can not handle that he was not your friend to start with. your playing with your life too taking your pills when ever. stop playing games sit him dowm and tell him what is more inportant losing your life by miss taking your pills and living with guilt the rest or most of your life or tell him outright I am sure he has things he does not want you to know about too. so please tell him!

The best thing for you to do is to be honest with him. If he cant accept it then he doesnt love you enough....thats if he even loves you at all. The longer you wait, the difficult it will be for the both of you.
