It's both natural & added as a preservative (the alcohol content not going bad), and it is also the poison that contributes to a hangover. All have some, even if you make it yourself (tho there are some recipies), but the best quality stuff will have none artificially added & less naturally occuring.

Most store bought liquers have sulfites to help preserve them but you could always make your own. Its pretty easy and is a great hobby

to my knowlege, there is none..

i do know for a fact that sulfite free wines, still have sulfites in it!

Is that the stuff in shellfish? I have a friend who is allergic to shellfish, and if she drinks cheap vodka she breaks out.

When she drinks good vodka, like Belvedere, she is fine.
