I have been seeing this guy for 3 months who is 15 yrs younger than me. I am in my early 30's. His life could be in jeopardy if it ever got out that we are seeing each other. I do not think are relationship is unhealthy, it's just the type of community (friends, family, and chosen careers) we associate with, which cannot be changed. We have a friendship and he has trusted me with conversation that I'm sure he wouldn't have shared with me if he didn't really trust me. I have fallen for him and I told him. He never tells me how he feels about me; he just tells me he will not hurt me and that he is not seeing or talking to any other females. I believe that much, but sometimes we seem so close like the best of friends and then other times he seems so distant. I know he got a lot on his mind, but how can I tell how serious he is about me? What else besides sex could he want from me?

what are you asking? He can't really be looking for anything, he's a kid.
He can only be around 17 or 18?
I think you may want to back out of this COMPLETELY before you end up on Dateline NBC as a pedophile.
You are developing feelings for young boys and that isn't good.
I think you might be a romantic type with a young mind and alot of energy but you really dont want this for the long run.

He's less than 18?! Why don't you let him grow up first, and then in a few years you can try to pick things back up. His brain isn't even fully developed yet. Males brains are said to not fully mature until they are about 24. So, just relax for now. He probably seems distant because he is worried about what he is getting into.

What else this guy could be looking for is a "loving" mother figure, and you fit the bill in every respect.
If he has not said "I am IN-love with you" by now > then he is NOT.
Too many people try to over analyse that simple test.
The relationship may be all comfort and lust for him.
I don't know what it is for you, but if you throw your heart in too soon, you may well get it broken.

he might want a new bicycle, lol, just kidding, I don't knock the age gap thing, you never know in whom you will find love. lets hope he is at least 18 or your life could be in danger. You do write like you are a bit immature so maybe the maturity level is compatible. no offense, I like being immature sometimes myself, it lessens the day to day grief of responsibility. I don't know if your kid (oops) guy feels one way or the other, young guys don't have feelings , they have urges. just take it for what you get from it and quit analyzing it to death. you can't always find the answers you seek. just enjoy the ride.

He's getting laid. Hes a kid for Petes sake. What do they know about life. All he sees is a hot woman screwing his brains out and honey....if you're in your 30's I know you don't screw like a 17 year old.

many men find older women sexy and attractive becuase they are more settled in there ways and easier to talk to [ your grown up ]but he is young and most likely he will move on cus he's still growing into himself , nothing wrong with what you two are doing but he mite just out grow you
